ClearTabs required a brand new website for a brand new concept in record industry recognised guitar tabs for sale. Requiring a whole new identity, logo design, magazine style website integrated with the epartnerhub site delivered by Faber Publishing. ClearTabs has been a large project and has evolved along the way, we have been working together to make it user friendly, easy for customers to find guitar tabs, and also develop content that would help to make people want to keep coming back for more.
The first thing however was to design a logo that would have guitar tabs theme, and also be professional, something that people would trust. The obvious idea was the first of many, but we went back to it, having a guitar replace one of the letters. The guitar went through a few changes, the most notable change was when ClearTabs spoke to Fender Guitars about what they were doing, and Fender ‘reminded’ us that the Fender headstock is a copyrighted element of the guitar, so we made sure that our headstock was sufficiently different.
